tl;dr: Karen Kirkland (VP of Nickelodeon Writing and Artist Program and Nickelodeon Talent Outreach) tweeted, I replied, she offered a Nickelodeon Artist Program sketchbook, I went bananas and drew Squidward.

The question here is, why is Squidward happy? It could be because Spongebob finally moved away or because he finally got a job at the Bikini Bottom Orchestra where his musical talents have been praised far and beyond.

It's a bit simpler than that, I drew this one fine morning in October 2016 and all thanks to a tweet from Karen Kirkland (VP of Nickelodeon Writing and Artist Program and Nickelodeon Talent Outreach), here's the conversation.

I will be sure to update with pictures of the Sketchbook when it arrives ^__^ .

Guys they arrived! And it was an absolute bonus because I got the Writing Program's notebook too. Early freaking Christmas for me, so excited! Just seeing the package with the Nickelodeon logo was brutal for me, oh man, what a rush.

Of course I couldn't wait to thank Karen but I even before that I had to open the books and give them a try. I can't describe it, I hope to create a habit of sketching/writing whenever possible by keeping these books in my purse and leaving them by the bed.

Once again, I am thanking Karen for this! I don't think she realizes how much it's meant. THANK YOU KAREN ! <3
